Sports Massage and Physical Therapist
Paul Simmons first qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in 1996 and has since run a clinic in Brighton and Hove for a variety of clients. His studies before and during this time were also added to through private based learning and studying in the areas of Sports therapy combining physical and electrotherapy training with institutes and foundations throughout England, Academy of Sports Therapy and the highly regarded Active Associates Foundation. Paul specializes in Physical Therapy and has been Chief Therapist at Hickstead International Showjumping Events in 2000 working with Olympic Riders when preparing for the Sydney Games. Paul worked on LWT’s Gladiators as a therapist from 1996-1998 and Ice Warriors in 1997. Paul has taught and lectured Sports Therapy and Massage at FE level and Physiology and Nutrition at HE level, London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) and for Sports Coach UK as a Senior tutor for Injury Prevention and Management. His clients have included professional athletes and World Champions in Tennis, Athletics, Karate, Boxing, Football, Kickboxing and Showjumping. He works in all aspects of injury prevention and management in both sports massage and physical therapy.
